For years, salon owners and nail professionals have searched for a safe and healthy alternative to acrylic nails: One that would add length, protection and shine, without the damage that acrylics can cause.

The NEXGENAIL System’s innovative technology was developed by a group of nail professionals with decades of industry experience.

The Process

Step 1: Shorten the nail to desired length. With fine sandpaper drum or file remove all excess cuticle and shine of the nail.

Step 2: Apply prep liquid to the nails on all fingernails.

Step 3: Apply ProBase on the entire nail. Rebrush using a back-and-forth motion. (It is important that the gel stays even on the nail).

Step 4: Dip in filler powder and tap finger to remove excess powder. (Reapply a very thin coat of ProBase to the areas where you need to add thickness and dip in filler powder and tap finger to remove excess powder).

Step 5: Repeat Step 3 & 4 second coat ensuring even application to all fingernails. 

Step 6: Apply the activator liquid to the entire nail on all fingernails. Fan cure for 30 seconds.

Step 7: Shape the side of the nail with a medium file to your clients preference. Using a nail machine with a fine bit, file around the cuticle area and contour file the nail to shape and remove imperfections.

Step 8: Buff all 10 fingernails. Have the client wash their hands and dry thoroughly before the next step.

Step 9: Apply the activator liquid to the entire nail on all fingernails. Fan cure for 30 seconds.

Step 10: Apply a thin layer of finish gel as quickly as possible. Then repeat with a second coat. Fan dry each hand for 60 seconds.

Step 11: Apply nail Cuticle Oil around cuticle.
